Eye of Vision Custom Wooden Wall Art Commissioned for an Ophthalmology Clinic

Eye of Vision Created as a special commission for the opening of a new ophthalmology clinic, Eye of Vision is a handcrafted wooden wall artwork that celebrates perception, precision and the beauty of natural materials. Measuring 60 × 60 cm, the piece combines the traditional art of intarsia with subtle wood carving to create depth and flowing lines. The eye, the central symbol of the composition, represents vision, focus and care—values closely associated with the world of ophthalmology. The iris has been handcrafted as a mosaic of mother-of-pearl, whose iridescent colors change with the light and bring a vibrant, living quality to the artwork. Each wooden element was individually shaped and assembled by hand using pine, ash, birch and walnut. The natural tones and textures of these species create harmony and warmth while emphasizing the organic character of the composition. This one-of-a-kind artwork was created exclusively for the inauguration of a new eye clinic and reflects MossArtum's philosophy of creating meaningful pieces that become part of a place's identity.
