Our Story

Welcome to MossArtum

We are Boris and Victoria, a husband-and-wife team creating handcrafted wooden wall art from our small workshop in Bulgaria.

Every piece we make is shaped by our own hands. From the first sketch and the careful selection of wood to the final carving, sanding and protective finish, every stage is part of a process we genuinely enjoy.

Our journey didn't begin with a business plan.

It began with an ordinary dining table that slowly disappeared beneath pieces of wood, carving tools, sketches and ideas. What started as a shared creative passion gradually became MossArtum, a place where craftsmanship, patience and imagination come together.

Every Piece Begins with a Story

Some stories begin with our clients.

A conversation, a memory, a favourite flower, a meaningful symbol, or simply an empty wall waiting for something truly personal. Together we explore ideas, create sketches and transform them into a one-of-a-kind artwork designed for one home and one family.

Other stories begin with us.

Sometimes an idea simply refuses to leave our minds until we bring it to life. These are our original designs, pieces created purely from our own inspiration and artistic curiosity. Once finished, they become part of our collection, waiting for someone who feels they have already found the home they were meant for.

Whether a piece begins with your story or ours, our goal is always the same: to create something that feels personal, timeless and worth living with for many years.

How We Work

Every artwork follows its own path, but every project is built on the same principles.

We work with carefully selected natural woods, combining techniques such as intarsia, woodcarving and relief carving to create depth, texture and character. Each piece is assembled, carved, sanded and finished entirely by hand using natural oils and waxes that preserve the beauty of the wood.

There are no production lines in our workshop.

Only one project at a time, receiving the attention it deserves.
